Job Description

As a seasoned professional, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our clients' tax strategies.

The role involves providing expert advice on corporate tax matters, including M&A, consolidations, restructures, and financing. You will also assist clients in meeting their corporate tax compliance obligations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, including corporate income tax compliance, preparation, and review of income tax returns, and tax accounting calculations.
  • Assist in delivering full-spectrum corporate taxation advisory services tailored to client needs, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
  • Supervise junior team members, fostering their learning and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance and collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • Australian corporate income tax experience, preferably gained in a top-tier accounting firm or mid-tier accounting firm.
  • Exceptional client-facing skills, with confidence to contribute to client meetings and build a network.
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well-informed recommendations for clients.
