Job Summary

Lifestyle Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Professional to join our team in providing innovative and flexible person-centered support for individuals living with a disability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and support customers in developing their personal interests and skills
  • Coach independent living skills, including cooking, domestic, and social skills
  • Administer medication and adhere to individual support plans
  • Complete clear and concise handover notes and incident reports
  • Provide personal care, including toileting, showering, feeding, and dressing when required
  • Facilitate customer engagement with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
Requirements
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including overnights and weekends
  • Versatile communication skills, including the ability to interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers
  • Current Australian Driver's License (mandatory requirement)
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or be willing to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate, HLTAID011
  • Minimum 2 doses of Covid-19 Vaccinations
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services, or similar, would be advantageous
