Piping Design Engineer
\About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Piping Design Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality piping design and drafting services that meet project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop 2D and 3D piping models and layouts
- Perform design and drafting assignments on time and within budget
- Identify and report changes to project scope
- Prepare engineering drawings and documentation
- Check drawings and documents according to Verbrec's checking procedures
- Provide technical support and assistance within the Design Team
- Communicate effectively with the discipline team and project stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years design drafting experience
- Strong knowledge of industry design standards and practices
- Experience in oil & gas or mining is desirable
- Associate Diploma in engineering or equivalent relevant qualification
