Caregiving Professional

This healthcare professional will work in a multi-disciplinary team to provide mental health and addiction services. The position is part of the Mid North Coast Integrated Mental Health Alcohol and Other Drugs (IMHAOD) service, implementing a new Emergency Mental Health & Addiction Assessment Team (EMHAART). This initiative aims to improve consumer outcomes and experiences by facilitating access to mental health or substance use disorders services for the people of MNCLHD across their lifespan.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with other service providers/agencies to promote assertive and timely service delivery for clients. They will provide holistic evidence-based care, utilizing their skills and knowledge to deliver MHAOD services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver intake, triage and assessment as part of the EMHAART within a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Practice and promote safe, efficient and effective nursing care that reflects current standards of nursing practices and policies.
Do you possess current Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and demonstrated nursing skills, knowledge and ability relevant to area within an outpatient and/or acute hospital setting?
