The Role:

You will be responsible for overseeing all commercial aspects of project contracts to ensure compliance with requirements and coordinating with internal teams. This includes managing commercial documentation, planning, and internal approvals for the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a safe work environment and manage procurement, financial activities, and subcontractor relationships.
  • Coordinate with operations, finance, and project controls, and contribute to key negotiations.
  • Facilitate commercial stewardship across the project and support Risk Management and compliance.
  • Responsible for evaluating and managing commercial risks and ensuring alignment with our policies.

Requirements:

  • Active AGSVA security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal or Finance or equivalent practical experience
  • Prior experience working in Defence commercial management (Industry and/or Government), with working knowledge of the ASDEFCON suite
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence
  • Demonstrated ability to establish quality relationships
  • Well-developed communication skills
  • Experience in financial planning, pricing, planning, billing procedures and contract administration
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain spreadsheet models
  • Experienced user of MS Office products.
