This role offers the opportunity to work on cross-domain, threat protection and insider risk solutions, empowering governments and enterprise organizations to use data safely.
You will serve as a subject matter expert on all technical aspects of our ultra-secure solutions and their deployment, providing pre-sales support for the federal government and defense market in Australia.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Skilfully present the technical merits of our security offerings, deliver compelling product demos and pilots, and expertly handle technical objections.
- Using and configuring our security solutions to deliver actionable analytic results, and working closely with the client and our engineers to ensure successful pilot efforts.
Technical Knowledge
- Excellent knowledge of security solutions and technologies, including:
- Internet security
- Anti-malware technologies
- Proxy technologies
- Experience with Windows, Linux, SIEM, information security, networking, scripting
- Experience working in virtualized, networked environments, specifically VMWare and Hyper-V based systems
- Practical information security experience to support the technical sales effort; including demonstrated knowledge of Web Security, Email Security and Secure Data Transfer solutions
- Advanced understanding of enterprise networking, including SaaS and Cloud solutions, such as AWS and Microsoft Azure
Key Experience and Skills
- Strong experience in a sales engineering/pre-sales role supporting critical security solutions
- Eligible for security clearance, ideally you will already be cleared to at least NV1
- Ability to work as part of a sales team to formulate account strategies
- Experience with building strong relationships throughout the sales cycle with our customer's technical staff
