Home Care Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Canberra North. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, promoting social interaction and community engagement.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as well as medication management and mobility assistance.
- Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
- Transport customers to appointments and provide complex care for those with high care needs, such as dementia.
- Guaranteed hours and shifts in Canberra, ACT, with opportunities for career progression and professional development.

- 6 months or more experience in a similar role, including experience with personal care.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
- Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask for help.
- Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
