Capital Works Project Manager

This is an opportunity to deliver the NSW and ACT capital works program across the Office portfolio.

  • Managing the scoping, coordination, planning, outsourcing, delivery, reporting and governance of the NSW and ACT (Office) capital works program.
  • Ensuring the efficient delivery of projects on time, with minimal impact to customers.
  • Budget preparation, budget management and expenditure control in relation to projects under management.
  • Financial reporting including management of capital works fees.
  • Management of external Project Managers, consultants and contractors in relation to projects within your region.
  • Producing detailed capital expenditure submissions and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will have a project management qualification and/or Building/Engineering/Architecture or other appropriate tertiary qualifications.

You will have 10 years' industry experience with minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar technical role.

Demonstrated Contract negotiation experience in the building and construction industry.

Skills in design management of multi-faceted team, leading the delivery of capital works projects. Possess analytical skills.

Understanding of the design and delivery construction market and the key players in each tier within the NSW and the ACT.
