We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Ngamai Wilam, a new 12-bed residential eating disorder treatment facility in Armadale. As Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will provide individual and group clinical services, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in clinical psychology, with expertise in evidence-based psychological interventions. You will be responsible for mentoring junior psychologists and supervising student placements, ensuring that we maintain high standards of care and professional development.
You will work closely with senior management and key stakeholders, including Eating Disorders Victoria, to develop and implement effective therapeutic programs. Your experience and expertise will be invaluable in helping us establish a world-class service that promotes long-term recovery and improves the lives of our patients.
About Us:
Ngamai Wilam is a newly built facility, set to open soon. Our service will provide 24/7 trauma-informed, recovery-focused care for adults aged 18 and over, in a gender-inclusive, home-like therapeutic environment. With a strong focus on family and chosen supports, we are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes long-term recovery.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
- Registration with the Psychology Board via AHPRA under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist under the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Victoria) Act 2009.
- Masters or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
- At least 5 years' experience working as a registered clinical psychologist.
