Job DescriptionThis role involves overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of accommodation and facilities to provide a high standard of service to customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting team performance, managing staff, and ensuring open communication between departments.
Key responsibilities include developing rosters and staffing structures, promoting a safety culture, and ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures. Additionally, the Facilities Manager will oversee minor maintenance, formulate waste management plans, and maintain equipment and tools.
The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications, a LF Forklift Licence, and at least 3 years' experience in facilities management. They must also possess strong leadership skills, knowledge of workplace safety systems, and the ability to coordinate purchasing and financial requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Relevant trade qualifications
- LF Forklift Licence
- Manual Drivers License, Class C
- At least 3 years' experience in facilities management
- Leading and motivating teams
- Knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance
- Ability to coordinate purchasing, financial, budgetary, and maintenance requirements
Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., JDE) and sound knowledge of horticultural practices are highly desirable.
