Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in NSW. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and negotiating deals that drive revenue growth for our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the heavy mobile equipment industry
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Negotiate deals and contracts to drive revenue growth
  • Develop and implement strategies to expand our customer base and market share
  • Collaborate with our sales team to achieve sales targets

Requirements

  • Experience in a similar role in the heavy mobile equipment industry, mining, or related sectors
  • A business development or sales management background
  • Ability to commit to traveling to customer sites approximately 50% of the time
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or equivalent CRM
  • Demonstrated capability in responding to tenders and developing sales proposals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; advanced Word skills
  • Excellent business acumen and professional communication skills
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Valid Australian driver's license
  • Australian working rights
  • Ability to meet all site access requirements, including a full pre-employment medical and national police clearance
