About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Aged Care Worker to join our KinCare team in Burleigh Heads. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional well-being.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families, providing a much-needed break and reassurance.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support, helping to maintain their independence and connection to their community.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia, requiring a high level of skill and compassion.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle, with a willingness to travel to customers' homes.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with a flexible approach to scheduling.
