About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to join our team in Burleigh Heads. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities to combat loneliness and isolation.
  • Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' physical and emotional needs.
  • Offer respite and emotional support to our customers and their families.
  • Transport customers to appointments and provide social support to promote independence and well-being.
  • Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia.

Requirements
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Ability to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting older adults to live independently.
