About the Role:
We seek a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to lead and oversee retail store operations. This pivotal role drives store performance, improves cost efficiency, and ensures presentation and service standards align with company expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Store Management: Supervise and support multiple store operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies. Conduct regular store visits to monitor performance, assess operational standards, and provide feedback to store managers.
- Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales, profitability, and performance targets for all stores in the area. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor store managers, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional growth. Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching and support to help store teams meet their goals.
- Customer Experience: Ensure all stores deliver an exceptional customer experience, aligning with our service standards. Handle escalated customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
- Visual Merchandising: Oversee store presentation and visual merchandising standards, ensuring consistency across all locations. Coordinate with the marketing team to implement in-store promotions and campaigns.
- Compliance and Operational Efficiency: Ensure all stores comply with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements. Optimize store operations by managing inventory, stock levels, and operational costs.
- New Store Openings: Plan and manage the opening of new stores, including recruitment, training, and initial operations setup. Support the development of strategies for new market entries and store expansion.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years' proven experience in a similar role as a Retail Area Manager or in retail operations leadership.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop store teams.
- Hands-on and self-motivated, with a strong passion for the retail industry, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to achieving targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Keen awareness of market changes and the ability to adapt swiftly.
- Full availability and flexibility to travel across multiple regions.
