Project Manager Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead and manage the Maternity to Child and Family Health Transition of Care project within the Health Contact Centre.

This initiative is part of the Putting Queensland Kids First program led by Children's Health Queensland.

The project involves service planning and design, information communication technology solutions, and organisational change to test a new service model for potential roll out to other sites.

About the Project

The project manager will be responsible for managing scope, time, cost, procurement, quality, risk, human resources, and communication management in line with endorsed project management frameworks.

  • Lead effective and efficient delivery of the project
  • Manage project resources, expenses, and capital costs against project forecasts
  • Enable informed decision making on project issues
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • A high level of project management skills, including design of large-scale and complex projects
  • Excellent leadership and people management capability
  • Understanding of the whole health system, including interrelationships within state and federal governments, non-government and private sectors
  • Ability to enable informed decision making on project requirements and issues
