Heavy Vehicle Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking heavy vehicle mechanics to join the combined Defence maintenance facility team located at an Australian Defence Force site. As a heavy vehicle mechanic with Ventia, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of heavy military vehicles.
This full-time opportunity offers 38 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with an early finish on Fridays. You will be provided with a competitive hourly pay rate and a range of benefits, including PPE and uniforms, on-site parking, and great work life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance tasks including inspection, classification, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy vehicles and plant equipment.
- Completing service tasks on equipment during routine maintenance.
- Replace or repair damaged and malfunctioning parts following inspections and effectively diagnose problems and perform work of a technical nature on heavy vehicles.
- You will adhere to all regulatory and contract specific requirements.
About this Role:
- Cert III Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent level.
- Demonstrated experience on heavy commercial vehicles.
- Demonstrated ability and practical experience to inspect, repair and maintain heavy vehicles to a medium level of repair.
- Possess a MR, HR or HC licence.
- Must possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's Licence.
