As a Service Manager, you will lead a team of Support Workers, implementing and delivering support services at our new Short Term Accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring high-quality services for clients and their families
  • Leading and supporting a team of Support Workers
  • Overseeing daily operations and providing direct support where required
  • Managing projects within scope and aligned with client needs and support plans
  • Providing coaching and developing opportunities, managing conflict and addressing performance issues
  • Contributing to the growth of our organization through service development and expansion

We seek a candidate with:

  • Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a Leadership or Management role within the disability sector or related field
  • A sound understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its funding protocols, standards and processes
  • Capacity to effectively deliver and monitor service provisions
  • Highly developed communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient computer literacy skills with the ability to learn new systems
  • NDS Workers Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
