About Our Opportunity:

We are seeking a visionary mental health leader to head our Older Youth Service Development initiative.

This role requires strategic and operational expertise to implement a best-practice Model of Care for older youth, providing leadership across all clinical teams, overseeing governance and quality outcomes, and driving service development in partnership with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive Model of Care for older youth.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive clinical governance and quality outcomes.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders to advance service development.
  • Promote evidence-based practices and consumer-centered care throughout the organization.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent qualification.
  • Fellowship of The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) or equivalent registration.
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • No less than 6 years of clinical experience in mental health, with substantial leadership exposure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and foster a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Experience working within Area Mental Health & Wellbeing Services.
