Global MEL Team Lead

We are seeking a visionary professional to lead our global monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) team. This role requires a unique blend of strategic leadership and hands-on delivery.
- Design and deliver the global MEL function to ensure projects and programs contribute to our charitable goals.
- Develop and implement a refreshed MEL strategy, including a clear framework for applying different evaluation approaches.
- Establish a learning strategy to embed organisational learning, support evidence-based decision-making, and inform strategic priorities.
This role requires a deep understanding of research and evaluation methodologies as well as strong organisational leadership skills.
Main Responsibilities:- Oversee the design and delivery of the global MEL function.
- Manage and mentor evaluation specialists across our core markets.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure effective communication and use of evaluation findings to inform action.
- Postgraduate degree in a health-related field.
- Extensive experience in research & evaluation project design and implementation.
- At least 10 years in scientific, population health, or health policy roles.
- Proven ability to develop and implement MEL strategies in health contexts.
- Skilled in managing high-performing teams and building organisational MEL capability.
- Ability to connect research outputs to decision-making and organisational learning.
