Automation Control Systems Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Automation Control Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to leverage your skills in design and programming of control systems to deliver innovative solutions for various industries.

This role involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to connect and collaborate on complex projects. You will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems that meet client requirements and achieve project outcomes. Your strong experience in automation and control systems, preferably from water, mining, and gas infrastructure projects, will enable you to make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement control systems for various industries
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve project outcomes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in automation and control systems

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water and gas infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of SCADA design and implementation skills particularly for GeoSCADA, CitectSCADA, FT View, OpenEnterprise and others
  • Knowledge of PLC and RTU platforms (i.e. Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson)
  • Programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB and VBS preferred but not essential
  • Application of industrial internet / Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics
