It is an exciting time for our Automation & Control Systems Engineering team as we see continued growth with local and national projects kicking off. This growth has created an opportunity for an Automation & Control Systems Engineer to join our Adelaide team.

You will be well versed in design and related programming of control systems in various industries, able to connect and work with your multidiscipline team and be able to think outside the box and work with agility to meet client requirements and achieve project outcomes.

As a Control Systems Engineer you will ideally bring to the role:

• Strong experiences, preferably from water, mining and gas infrastructure projects
• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Automation or Mechatronics Engineering
• Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water and gas infrastructure projects
• Degree level qualifications in either Electrical, Control Systems or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in SCADA design and implementation skills particularly for GeoSCADA, Citect, FT View, OpenEnterprise and others
• Exceptional design and implementation skills for capability with PLC and RTU platforms (i.e. Rockwell Automation, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Emerson)
• Experience with the following programming languages such as Python, C++, C#, Java, VB and VBS preferred but not essential
• Application of industrial internet / Industry 4.0 to leverage the power of smart machines and real-time analytics

About You

You will ideally bring to the role:

• Ideally 2+ years of relevant experience in O&G, Mining & Minerals and/or Infrastructure/Utilities
• Demonstrated experience delivering process control systems for mining, water and gas infrastructure projects
• Degree level qualifications in either Electrical, Control Systems or Mechatronics Engineering
• Advanced SCADA design and implementation skills particularly for GeoSCADA, Citect, FT View, OpenEnterprise and others
