Job Description:

The Deli Team Leader oversees store resources and monitors staff performance to ensure efficient execution of tasks. They assist with the induction and training of new employees, further development and training of existing staff, and guarantee adherence to Routine Cards by the Store Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage store resources effectively and monitor staff execution of tasks
  • Assist with the induction and training of new employees and further development and training of existing employees
  • Ensure all Routine Cards are followed by the Store Team
  • Communicate any incidents, damages, operational issues or suggestions to the Store Manager
  • Hold a master key and be available for emergency callouts if necessary
  • Rotate stock according to the rotation schedule to ensure it is of good quality and within date
  • Maintain merchandising standards across the entire store
  • Guarantee that correct stocktake/stock adjustment processes occur in all departments
