Job Responsibilities

  1. We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Casual Pool for Hall Ward, a dedicated mental health unit providing acute psychiatric inpatient care to children and young people.
  2. You will be part of a specialised team delivering trauma-informed, family-centred mental health care that prioritises the needs of our patients and their families.
  3. The successful candidate will work across a range of shifts that fit their lifestyle, gaining valuable experience in child and adolescent mental health while working in a supportive environment with opportunities for learning and development.
  4. This role offers a unique opportunity to support children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, developing your skills and expertise in this specialist area.

About You

  • You must have current AHPRA registration and a passion for mental health nursing and working with children and adolescents.
  • Previous experience in mental health nursing (adult or paediatric) is highly desirable, as well as strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills.
  • You should be willing to commit to two shifts per month, demonstrating flexibility and reliability in your work schedule.
