System Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Integration Engineer to lead our building management system (BMS) consulting efforts. In this role, you will design and deliver intelligent, sustainable, and mission-critical facilities that integrate advanced building technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage BMS consulting projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Supervise and mentor project team members in preparing control system design drawings and integrated specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to select equipment for building systems and provide technical reports.
  • Support vendor selection and procurement by evaluating 'best of breed' solutions.
  • Lead project meetings, contribute to client discussions, and ensure seamless integration with MEP design teams.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and quality control processes.
  • Develop and maintain BMS standards, best practices, and processes.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and support client relationships.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in the HVAC controls industry with direct design responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC/electrical instrumentation, building control sequence of operations, and integrated building systems.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, low-voltage sub-systems, and smart building convergence.
  • Experience with BMS, EPMS, DCIM, and SCADA systems design, implementation, and operations.
  • Understanding of building analytics software platforms for anomaly detection, energy conservation, and system optimization.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus but not required.
  • Involvement with ASHRAE, CABA, or related industry organizations is a plus.
