Job OverviewWe are currently searching for an experienced Water Infrastructure Planner to join our team in South East Queensland. As a key member of our Integrated Water Planning business, you will be immersed in a strong, long-term pipeline of work, handling complex, large-scale projects focused within the region and beyond.
Responsibilities- Project delivery and contributing to growing, shaping and maintaining our Integrated Water Planning business.
- Business development including client engagement, proposal preparation and bid management for clients including major and regional urban utilities, developers, local and state government etc.
- Proactive delivery of high-quality and timely valued water network planning solutions that are focused on flexibility, sustainability, optimisation, integration, whole-of-lifecycle cost and acceptable risk.
- Checking and review of project outputs, including project deliverables (calculations, specifications, reports) through to technical verification and peer review (as appropriate to level of experience).
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers and maintaining a high performing, engaged and supportive team culture.
- Ideally, 7+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and consulting experience.
- Demonstrated network planning experience that demonstrates the development and evaluation of options and proficient in hydraulic network modelling of water and/or wastewater systems.
- Understanding of current and potential future policy, practice, trends, technology, and information affecting water planning, including drivers, regulation, framework and guidelines.
- Proven track record in the successful delivery of large projects on time, within budget and outstanding quality.
- Excellent communication skills and high quality technical and non-technical report writing.
- Client relationship / management skills and experience.

AECOM provides a salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience.
