Semi-Autonomous Dozer Operator

About the RoleWe are seeking highly skilled dozer push operators to operate converted Semi-Autonomous tractor system (SATS) dozers at our Goonyella Riverside Mine. This role will involve the remote operation of a fleet of semi-autonomous dozers, using Caterpillar command technology, from a central control room located onsite. The successful candidate will also be required to operate dozers manually when the SATS system is not in operation, taking direction from the applicable supervisor or superintendent.
Key Responsibilities- Operate converted Semi-Autonomous tractor system (SATS) dozers using Caterpillar command technology
- Remote operation of a fleet of semi-autonomous dozers from a central control room
- Manual operation of dozers when the SATS system is not in operation
- Take direction from the applicable supervisor or superintendent
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and experience:
- Bulk Dozer Push experience (minimum 12 months' experience)
- Current and Competent D11 Proficiency
- Positive can-do attitude with a strong passion for safety and improving mining efficiencies
- Exceptional work ethic and attendance rate
- Computer literacy and willingness to be upskilled in the Caterpillar command for dozing technology
- Flexible, team-orientated approach with strong communications skills
- Valid C class manual unrestricted drivers license
