About the Job

The Facilities and Security Manager will oversee the facilities management of our Adelaide and Canberra Offices and ensure compliance with the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF) requirements.

The role involves ensuring that all facilities are maintained to a high standard, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, tag & test, and general maintenance.

You will develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules to avoid downtime and maximise the lifespan of company assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure facilities are maintained to a high standard
  • Develop and implement maintenance programs and schedules
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and environmental regulations
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in facilities management and security operations, ideally within the Defence or a similarly regulated industry
  • Knowledge of Australian Defence security regulations, including the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) and Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF)
  • Experience in managing physical office spaces and coordinating maintenance and safety compliance
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively
