We are looking for a Facilities Coordinator with a strong financial background to oversee the management and coordination of day-to-day operations for our facilities in Adelaide. The role involves ensuring the efficient and effective operation of building systems and services while managing budgets, financial reporting, and cost control. Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operations of the facilities, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including service contracts, procurement, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure the facility's optimal performance.
  • Ensure the effective delivery of services such as cleaning, security, and maintenance, within established budgets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely execution of projects, including office relocations, renovations, and equipment installation.
  • Provide proactive support for health and safety initiatives, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness planning.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of relevant building codes, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (financial reporting skills)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in managing facilities in a corporate or commercial setting is highly desirable.
