Job Title: Cyber Operations Head

This is a senior leadership role responsible for the advancement of our organisation's cyber defence capabilities through strategic oversight, operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • We develop and implement a Cyber Resilience Operations Strategy to meet business goals, regulatory requirements and adapt to the evolving threat landscape.
  • We maintain and enhance the incident response framework to ensure plans and processes remain effective and compliant.
  • Our Security Operations Centre (SOC) ensures incident response targets and service levels are achieved under our day-to-day operations.
  • We direct and guide investigations of security alerts across various platforms, including antivirus, IPS, firewall logs, DLP incidents, proxy data and threat intelligence feeds.
  • We drive ongoing improvement of SOC tooling and automation, including SIEM, EDR and related technologies.
Requirements:
  • You have a demonstrated strength in preparing reports and executive-level presentations.
  • You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You will establish and maintain trusted relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
  • You need experience in developing and delivering training and communication initiatives.
  • You should have a strong background in process documentation and governance.
  • You are expected to provide leadership and motivational ability in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Business or related industry certifications are essential.
