About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapist to join our team as a Lecturer in Physiotherapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering core components of allied health courses, ensuring high-quality learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with government, health professionals, and local community stakeholders to support students in becoming evidence-based practitioners.
  • Ensure high-quality learning experiences through appropriate place-based curriculum in our entry-to-practice courses.
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials, delivery of teaching, and student assessment, including the use of emerging technologies.
  • Teach Physiotherapy subjects in cardiorespiratory and/or neurological physiotherapy and may teach other areas as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience and demonstrated achievement in university-level multidisciplinary learning and teaching, with demonstrated experience of flexible learning and familiarity with innovative blended learning & teaching andragogy and digital technologies.
  • Evidence of leading, designing, and implementing best practice assessment and student learning outcomes at unit or course level.
  • A demonstrated capacity to build and maintain effective and productive links locally, nationally, and internationally with the discipline, interdisciplinary domain, profession, industry, and/or wider community.
  • Current registration as a Physiotherapist with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (PBA), under the auspices of the Australian Health Practitioner Regulatory Authority (AHPRA).
  • Completion of a Master and/or PhD in a relevant health discipline.
  • Clinical expertise with recency or currency in cardiorespiratory or neurological physiotherapy practice.
What We Offer

Appointment to this role will be at Academic Level B and will have a total remuneration package of up to $150,759 comprising base salary within the range of $110,992 to $128,854 plus 17% superannuation.
