About the Role
We are seeking a fully qualified Electrician to enhance our Fire Protection Services division. This position is ideal for individuals with a minimum of 2 years of electrical experience, preferably in the Fire Protection sector, and a strong desire to expand their knowledge in various aspects of fire safety systems.

With a presence across Australia and New Zealand, we offer specialized expertise in design, installation, and maintenance, integrating Mechanical, Fire Protection, AV, Electrical, and Communications Services.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Programming, troubleshooting, and repairing fire panels, EWIS, and associated fire electrical apparatus.
- Modifying and servicing FDCIE, EWCIE, FFCP, pump interface equipment, emergency exit lighting, and interfacing with auxiliary services and third-party systems.
- Collaborating with air conditioning BMS systems.
- Conducting surveys of client premises to recommend appropriate fire protection and safety solutions in compliance with Equans protocols and relevant Australian Standards.
- Ensuring thorough inspection and testing of all portable fire equipment, including extinguishers and hose reels.
- Participating in the on-call roster as necessary.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
- Valid Electrical License.
Highly Desirable Qualifications:
Additional licenses in the following areas are advantageous:
- Electrical Installation and Maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems.
- Electrical Inspection and Testing of Emergency Lighting.
- Installation and Maintenance of Portable Fire Equipment.
