About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and values-driven Case Worker to join our team in Townsville, QLD. As a Case Worker, you will be responsible for providing effective service delivery, ensuring case management, assessment, and referral, education and support are provided in accordance with TSA guidelines.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide efficient day-to-day service delivery through education, interventions, group work, assessment, referral, and case work within a recovery-oriented and person-led service environment.
  • Develop and monitor individual treatment plans and maintain case management documentation, records, reports, and data collection, utilizing established case planning procedures.
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as requested by the Manager, Program Manager, or Senior Case Worker.

About You

  • You have a minimum of Diploma level qualification in a relevant discipline (AOD, Community Services, Case Management).
  • You have completed 4 AOD Skill Set Units (or are willing to undertake/complete during employment).
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with unpredictable situations and behaviors utilising de-escalation techniques.
  • You have at least two years' experience in recovery (if applicable).
  • You have sound computer literacy and the ability to critically reflect on professional practice and attitudes.
  • You can develop and tailor programs to meet participants' needs.
