Payroll Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll Lead to join our team. As a Payroll Lead, you will be responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring consistency and accuracy of employee pay, and resolving payroll-related matters.

The role involves acting as an escalation point for payroll team members, overseeing and leading payroll team members, and resolving employee queries on pay run transactions. You will also be responsible for clarifying payroll-related Agreement queries with the Employee Relations Lead, liaising with the NHVR's payroll provider to resolve system defects, and ensuring NHVR payroll awards are up-to-date with Enterprise Agreement and legislation changes.

Key requirements for this role include excellent time management and organisational skills, effective communication and leadership potential, ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is desirable but not required.
