The Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled Cloud Engineer to lead the development of cloud-based GIS solutions, driving innovation and excellence in this space. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Cloud Architectures: Develop and maintain robust, efficient, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
  • Lead Cloud Engineering Teams: Mentor and guide junior engineers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop solutions, and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Continuously monitor industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Your Ideal Background:

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Extensive Experience in Cloud Computing: Strong expertise in designing, building, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS or Azure.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, as well as experience with version control systems like Git.

Bonus and Salary:

We offer a highly competitive salary and bonus structure, reflecting your value to our organization. Our estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
