Geospatial Solutions Specialist

We are seeking an experienced GIS Consultant to join our team at Woolpert. As a leading architecture, engineering, and geospatial firm, we deliver high-quality solutions and products for clients across the Asia-Pacific region.
A highly competitive salary of AU$90,000 - $110,000 per annum reflects your expertise and skills in delivering innovative geospatial solutions. You will work with our talented team of Geospatial Specialists to ensure exceptional project outcomes.
About the RoleThis technical consulting role involves hands-on interaction with clients, both on-site and remotely. Your key responsibilities include:
- Providing broad range of geospatial consulting services, including deployment, configuration, support for Geocortex/VertiGIS and Esri ArcGIS suite of products.
- Performing activities such as server/network administration, application deployment, configuration, testing, demonstration, documentation, and training.
- Managing the quality of deliverables and troubleshooting issues.
- Undertaking domestic travel as required.
To succeed in this role, you will have prior experience in a similar position, accompanied by:
- Experience with Web GIS technologies, preferably Geocortex/VertiGIS & Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and related applications.
- Proven ability to be self-sufficient, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong relationships with peers and customers.
- Substantial experience with geospatial technologies, including Esri ArcGIS and/or Open-Source geospatial products, enterprise IT environments, and cloud computing technologies.
- Experience in IT management processes, such as Agile, Lean, and software development tools like Jira, GitHub, and Jenkins.
- Working knowledge and practical experience with programming/scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, C#) will be well regarded.

The ideal candidate will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent in computing science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Geomatics sciences.
- Three or more years' consulting, analyst, and/or business analysis experience in a related industry.
- National Police Clearance.
- Current permanent and full-time working rights in Australia.
