ICT Operations Manager Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

The ICT Operations Manager will be responsible for delivering IT services and coordinating IT support and project implementation functions across the service desk, infrastructure, business intelligence, and security areas.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing strategic direction and guidance to a team of professionals
  • Defining, developing, and deploying IT systems to achieve business goals and objectives
  • Ensuring the IT infrastructure and user management supports operational requirements and delivers high-quality services

Requirements:

  • Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
  • Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in IT management of infrastructure
  • Substantial experience in IT operations management, technology, people, processes, and information
  • Project management experience delivering infrastructure from selection or design to implementation

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Relevant Information Technology qualifications or MBA
  • Management experience in a non-government setting
  • ITIL Intermediate Certification
