Flexhive is seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our Marketing and Communications team in Canberra. As a community-controlled, not-for-profit organisation, we are guided by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander experts and peak bodies, promoting collective excellence in mental health care.

The Event Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of event planning and delivery, ensuring events are impactful and foster meaningful engagement with key stakeholders. This includes developing and executing a comprehensive event strategy, managing merchandise and sponsorship agreements, and overseeing logistical aspects of events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy that supports community engagement, advocacy, and fundraising.
  • Manage merchandise and sponsorship agreements to enhance branding and fundraising efforts.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with organisational goals.
  • Provide leadership to ensure high-quality event delivery and alignment with team objectives.
  • Ensure all events comply with health, safety, and legal standards, proactively managing risks.
  • Implement strategies to promote events and enhance stakeholder relationships.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations and provide recommendations for future improvements.
