About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Procurement Manager to lead our commercial relationships with suppliers and drive sustainable outcomes for the organisation. The successful candidate will provide thought leadership as a subject matter expert across the business, enabling the delivery of strategic plans, particularly around supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage and develop a team of four to achieve commercial excellence
  2. Develop, drive, and measure business initiatives and objectives
  3. Provide operational direction on activities across supplier lifecycle sourcing and contract management
  4. Deliver value through collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
  5. Manage the effective operational delivery of category management, demand management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract management, and purchasing
  6. Lead complex supplier negotiations to maximise commercial value and mitigate supply risk
  7. Continually challenge internal systems and processes to drive continuous improvement and deliver business needs
  8. Provide guidance, coaching, and support to business users for tactical and transactional procurement activities
Requirements

This role will appeal to an experienced Procurement professional with a strong track record of partnering with stakeholders to develop and execute strategy. Experience working in infrastructure, construction, utilities, or similar industries would be advantageous.
