Outdoor Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our outdoor maintenance team. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing open spaces across various council-controlled contracts.

  • Operate mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard.
  • Complete service requests as required.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment.
  • Service Requests: Complete service requests as required.
  • Quality of Work: Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in roadside zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces.
  • Manual MR Drivers Licence: Valid Manual MR Drivers Licence.
  • White Card: White Card.
  • ACDC Licence: ACDC Licence.
  • Traffic Management: Traffic Management experience highly regarded.
  • Teamwork: Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually.
  • Punctuality and Reliability: Be punctual and reliable.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintain and enhance roadsides across council-controlled contracts.
  • Operate mowing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform regular inspections on equipment.
  • Complete service requests as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the team.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
