Trusted Insider Threat Countermeasures Expert

This role requires a highly skilled professional to develop and maintain proactive detection and prevention programs against insider threats.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal and external partners to identify and mitigate potential risks, leveraging their expertise in intelligence analysis, cyber security, and investigation.
- Conduct comprehensive intelligence analysis to counter insider threats.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance policy, doctrine, process, and governance related to insider threat capabilities.
- Analyse vulnerabilities and provide strategic security intelligence advice.
- Nurture relationships to gain critical insights into agency-wide vulnerabilities.
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a strong understanding of the intelligence cycle and ability to apply their knowledge to real-world scenarios.
In addition to the required skills and qualifications, the selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting 1 Clearance, undergo a pre-employment National Police History check, Worker Screening check, and/or Working with Children Check (where required) and provide evidence of Australian Citizenship.
Key Requirements:- Expertise in intelligence analysis, cyber security, and investigation.
- Strong understanding of the intelligence cycle.
- Ability to conduct fused intelligence analysis in an insider threat context.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
