Job Role

The Disability Support Practitioner role provides an opportunity to deliver person-centered support to individuals with cerebral palsy and other disabilities in a group home setting.

  • Develop and maintain independence by supporting clients with daily living tasks, including mealtime assistance and personal care.
  • Advocate for individual needs and provide personalized care, including medication administration and manual handling using equipment.
  • Transport clients safely using wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
  • Monitor client well-being and report progress.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • A current NSW Driver's License (P2 minimum) is required.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with clients and their families.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a permanent part-time position working across morning, day, and evening shifts.
