Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Weight and Research Inspector. This individual will be responsible for verifying weight, calculating density, and classifying shipments tendered by our customers.

The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Verifying weight, calculating density, and classifying shipments
  • Developing positive relationships with colleagues and promoting teamwork and morale
  • Practicing safe work methods and encouraging a safe working environment
  • Performing inspections in non-temperature controlled environments
  • Reviewing W&R reports to identify revenue recovery opportunities

Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Leadership, communication, and administrative skills
  • Knowledge of the LTL industry and/or W&R
  • Ability to make decisions in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to work varied shifts and hours
