About the Role

QinetiQ is seeking a skilled Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Consultant to join our team in Melbourne. As an ILS Consultant, you will work closely with our customers to deliver exceptional outcomes and support across aspects of ILS to assist acquisition and integration of new capability into the Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide ILS expertise to support the delivery of the LAND 400 program, working closely with our customer, the Land Domain of CASG.
  • Support the development of support systems and resources, including inventory management, procurement, and contracting.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and support across aspects of ILS.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of Defence contracting using ASDEFCON principles, inventory management principles, and optimisation techniques.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers on ILS-related matters, including reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) concepts.
Requirements
  • Previous ILS experience working within Defence projects, Defence platform sustainment, or similar industry acquisition.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and optimisation techniques.
  • Experience in Defence contracting using ASDEFCON principles.
  • Understanding of Support System Support resources and requirements.
  • Understanding of Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) concepts.
