We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Integrated Logistics Support Consultants. As a key member of our Operations and Delivery team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer outcomes and support across aspects of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) to assist acquisition and integration of new capability into the Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group (CASG).

About the Role

As an Integrated Logistics Support Consultant, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support the delivery of the LAND 400 program, a major acquisition project for the Australian Army. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and support on ILS-related matters, including procurement and contracting, inventory management, support system analysis, and spares analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support on ILS-related matters to the LAND 400 program team
  • Develop and implement ILS strategies and solutions to support the acquisition and integration of new capability
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks associated with ILS
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Defence customers and industry partners
  • Contribute to the development of ILS-related policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in Defence projects, Defence platform sustainment, or similar industry acquisition
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and optimisation
  • Experience in Defence contracting using ASDEFCON principles
  • Understanding of Support System Support resources and requirements
  • Understanding of Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) concepts
