Key Role Summary

The Store Manager will be the driving force behind a team, fostering relationships and embodying the spirit of Budgy Smuggler in the community. As a pivotal figure in the company's expansion outside Sydney, this role involves overseeing the Kotara store and cultivating connections with the local community to elevate the brand's presence.

This opportunity allows for the creation of a retail experience that is as bold and fun as the brand itself, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service that leaves a lasting impression.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Store Operations: Lead the Kotara store, maintain fresh inventory through regular product drops, and recruit, train, and motivate a passionate casual team who embody the brand.
  • Being the Face of Budgy: Deliver outstanding customer service, possess an in-depth knowledge of the product range, and create memorable experiences through in-store events and activations.
  • Building Community Connections: Engage with the local community by meeting businesses and developing genuine connections to grow the Budgy community.

In order to excel in this position, the ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of two years of retail leadership experience (fashion, lifestyle, or sportswear experience is beneficial).
  • An eye for visual merchandising that inspires creativity.
  • A confident, proactive, and creative individual who is comfortable being the face of a brand.
  • A genuine passion for summer, Budgy Smuggler, and all things Australian.

  • The ability to balance store operations and community engagement.
