Glen Eira Leisure (GEL) is seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to support the Sports Programs Team Leader in delivering a range of sports and competitions across our three main facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the organization and maintenance of internal sporting competitions
  • Support the setup of functions and sports events
  • Assist with the rostering of umpires and referees
  • Ensure the leisure facilities are operated, maintained, and cleaned to high standards
  • Provide administrative support to the Sports Programs Team Leader

About You

We are looking for someone who is innovative, efficient, and team-focused with excellent stakeholder engagement skills and attention to detail. You will have strong initiative and time management abilities, with the capability to communicate and work in a diverse organization.

Requirements

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Experience in sports-related or customer-focused roles
  • Knowledge and understanding of sports competitions and events
  • Level 2 First aid with CPR (or be willing to obtain)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
