Change Management Specialist Role

The Department of Treasury and Finance is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the execution of change management activities, coordination and delivery of training and documentation for the HR Forms Automation project within Payroll Reform.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract opportunity with the potential for career growth and development. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of change management principles and be able to develop and implement effective training programs.

  • Lead and identify the scope, scale, and complexity of anticipated change processes and people impacts for Payroll Reform, including developing the Change Impact Assessment.
  • Ensure the change and training program for payroll and agency is appropriately planned, developed, implemented, managed, and documented.
  • Identify, actively engage with, and oversee the implementation of effective stakeholder communication across Payroll Services and the public sector in relation to the HR Forms Automation.

The ideal candidate will have a background in change management, adult education, or a related field and be able to work collaboratively with the wider project team within Payroll Services.

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving shared goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

A high level of autonomy and independence is required, as well as the ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and proactive, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
