We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to take on the role of Childcare Centre Director.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care is provided to our children.

The Centre:

This 90 plus place service is located in the heart of Perth and provides a range of services for the local community.

The Role:

As the Director, you will be tasked with building strong relationships and driving quality practices within the centre. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day operations
  • Ensuring compliance with industry laws and regulations
  • Developing and implementing effective staffing strategies
  • Overseeing the centre curriculum based on the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
  • Driving quality in practices in line with the National Quality Standards
  • Mentoring and guiding the service philosophy
  • Liaising with stakeholders, clients, and the local community

About You:

You are a knowledgeable and warm individual who is passionate about childcare and education. You possess strong leadership skills and are able to motivate and inspire your team. You are also able to think critically and make informed decisions.

Able to hit the ground running, you will be able to tackle challenges with a positive outlook and use your experience to build beneficial relationships with staff, families, and management.

Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA recognised equivalent
  • Demonstrate strong leadership experience and skills
  • Have a thorough knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check
  • Have unrestricted work rights in Australia
  • Hold a current National Police Clearance
  • Hold HLTAID004 First Aid certification
