Senior Electronics Design Professional

The Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the professional engagement in electronic project design and development activities, including concept, feasibility, schematic capture, pcb artwork, verification, test and manufacture.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead product development projects and serve as a subject matter expert guiding clients and project teams.
- Contribute to the development of the hardware team through improving own capabilities and developing junior colleagues.
- Ensure quality standards are met in line with industry best practices.
- Perform effective estimation of current and potential work for the hardware team.
- Review technical designs and documents for hardware projects.
- Serve as technical contact to clients and project managers for any electronics design related matters.
- Australian citizenship, permanent residency or working visa.
- Relevant degree from a reputable University (e.g. Bachelor of Electronics Engineering).
- At least 7 years of experience as a professional electronics design engineer.
- Registered as a professional engineer in Victoria if based in Victoria.
- Competence in analog and digital electronics design.
- Experience in designing electronic products from concept to manufacture.
- Proficiency in Altium schematic capture and PCB layout.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
