About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the end-to-end development and deployment of our cutting-edge sensors.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment. You will also collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications.

To excel in this role, you will need to have excellent technical skills, including proficiency in using laboratory instruments such as Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, etc., and experience in PCB design using Altium Designer.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive test and evaluation plans and procedures.
  • Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, and equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, scientists, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed to exact specifications.
  • Evaluate existing processes and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Develop robust maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Systems, Embedded Systems, or related discipline.
  • Australian Citizenship or PR Holder.
  • Experience in programming in embedded C, C++, and Python.
  • Analogue and Digital circuit design.
  • Miniaturized electronics.
  • Debugging and fault-finding circuits.
  • Surface mount assembly and rework.
